Universal edit button

The universal edit button seems like a very good idea, to show this icon in the location bar whenever you can edit the page and contribute to the content.

At the moment there’s a Firefox extension, which unfortunately won’t work if you have version 3 with the deli.cio.us one already installed and enabled. A hack could make it work on IE too. The number of sites implementing the required functionality is impressive already.
